I bought this when I realised my hair had started to look a bit distressed after being blow-dried more often than usual and deciding it needed a little extra care. There wasn't any particular reason behind choosing this one, just that it seemed a reasonable price and I've previously heard good things about the Aussie brand. This cost me £3.99 for a 250ml bottle in my local Morrisons, but I have also seen it in Bodycare in the past, who generally have better prices on things.

Aussie say that their formula, with a drop of Australian Jojoba Seed Oil, helps to detangle and protect, smells lush, is a must for the beach, and makes styling easier. It's described as a saviour for weak, distressed hair, and will help to protect from everyday wear and tear.

The conditioner comes in a pretty plain looking cylindrical bottle with a spray dispenser as the top. There's a press-on lid on for the dispenser, but I tend to just get rid of these things as soon as I start using these products as they're a pain and I just end up leaving them lying around somewhere and then can't find them when I go to put them back on. The only problem with that is that when you come to take the bottle away with you you're left with no lid, but I've found that it doesn't actually need one and it does fine in a bag, with no leaks or sprayage.

The directions on this product are simple, just spray evenly through towel-dried hair and comb through. I find the spray quite difficult to use sometimes as the top is quite stiff and it can be difficult to press it down hard enough whilst keeping it far enough away from my head to get an even coverage. This can be quite annoying, but it's not enough to stop me using it.

How much to use will depend entirely on the length and thickness of your hair. My hair is medium thickness and currently just past shoulder-length, and I find about 10 sprays is sufficient. If I want a bit more extra protection, like if I'm going to be out in the sun all day, I just use a bit more than usual and this seems to do the trick.

This is a fantastic detangler. After spraying it through my hair, even when a combination of rubbish shampoo and rough-drying my hair has left it extremely tangled, I can immediately comb it through with no trouble at all, it's amazing! It has a gorgeous fresh, fruity, summery scent which is much nicer than most hair products I've used, and it really lasts in your hair long after you've used it.

Once my hair is dry after using it, it feels really soft, smooth and silky, and I find I just can't stop touching my hair, it feels that good. It looks smooth, sleek and shiny, and there is absolutely no sign of any frizz or flyaways. It really does make my hair look and feel so much healthier than it had been doing, and it seems to have completely reversed the effects that heat styling had had on my hair.

I'm not sure that I'd agree necessarily that it makes styling easier, as this depends on what type of style you're after. Some styles are easier to create with the soft, smooth, sleek finish that this gives you, whilst others are actually hindered by a sleek finish and need the hair to be more course in oprder to work. I do agree, however, that it is a must for the beach, as it gives great protection form the damaging effect the sun can have on your hair, and keeps it feeling hydrated and healthy.

All in all I'm really pleased with this product, it does everything I could possibly ask of it and has left my hair in much better condition than it was. The bottle also lasts well despite having to use what seems like quite alot of the product with each use. I'd definitely recommend it.
