Advantages: Genuinely repairs your hair and leaves it feeling fabulous, and has a sweet scent that you'll love!
Disadvantages: May be a little bit pricey for those on a budget but it's seriously worth it.
I've always been a bit unsure when it comes to leave in conditioners as I've usually experienced a weighed down feeling and excessive greasiness hours later even when used on its own without prior conditioning in the bath.
I bought aussie's miracle hair insurance after asking around on some beauty blogs which hair products smell sweet or have a similar aroma to bubblegum. Nine times out of ten this particular product was suggested to me because of the smell and the quality.
I only initially bought this after finding that Aussie just had a special anniversary and therefore had all of their products on offer or reduced in hundreds of stores across the UK so it wasn't hard to find a good deal with them. They are usually still on offer every now and then so don't worry it wasn't a one off!
I purchased three products for the price of two - I got a three minute conditioner and then two bottles of this stuff and I honestly couldn't be any more glad that I did.
I had severely damaged hair that was over processed and bleached on a number of occasions and was just breaking off all the time and making my hair weaker and shorter. My hair also had a gum like texture when it got washed, it was that damaged. I also found great difficulty in brushing and blow drying my hair as it would become severely knotted and would be ever so easy to snap and break off even when I took extra care in doing so.
Eventually after using the leave in conditioner for about a month every day - the equivalent of one bottle for me personally, my hair showed significant signs of improvement as the gummy feeling had gone and my hair was breaking off less and I noticed that my hair was actually starting to grow a little more. Of course, this doesn't promote hair growth but my hair was so damaged for a number of years that it literally wouldn't get past my shoulders.
Six months on and I'm still using it and my hair is luscious and soft and has passed my shoulders! I never thought id be able to repair my hair without the need to chop absolutely all of it off. Usually I dismiss the claims of most brands of how they apparently repair your hair as I've gone through a countless amount of products that contain so called vitamins to 'nourish' the hair when all they actually do is mask the hair follicle and don't actually reconstruct or replenish it in any way.
This is probably why I love the miracle hair insurance spray conditioner as it does exactly what you hope it should do; leave your hair feeling absolutely amazing! It really is a miracle conditioner after seeing how my hair had turn from straw like hair to soft and shiny in a matter of weeks. I've recommended it to a couple of my friends and my mother also, whom have actually gone ahead and purchased it after seeing the results of my hair.
The smell has to be a definite bonus; for those of you who enjoy and appreciate sweet and sugary smell then this is ideal, it doesn't have the distinct bubblegum smell I was after, but it does have a unique scent that makes you feel delicious and makes you want to keep to a routine of using it every day because it smells so good.
Depending on where you find this (I usually go to tesco, superdrug or boots) it averages at around £3/£4 which is a perfectly adequate amount of money to spend on something that works wonders on your hair.
Summary: A sweet and delicious smelling conditioner that does it's job and leaves your hair soft and smooth!
