Advantages: smells fab, ridiculously easy to use

Disadvantages: none

I've found a product that I know I'm going to be hooked on for a very long time.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance is a gift from the Gods. A spray-in, leave-in conditioner that smells devine and really makes a difference.

I have long hair - so washing a conditioning it can be time consuming. I've tried using the two in ones and they're fine once in a while but I've always believed separate shampoo and conditioner gives the best results.

The solution is this spray in conditioner. You only have to shampoo your hair first, (which is a lot quicker to rinse out than conditioner), towel dry, then spray a few squirts of this lotion into the hair and you're done.

I find it works brilliantly to untangle and adds a good shine. Best of all though is the wonderful smell. I've actually been stopped in a shop by someone desperate to know the perfume I was wearing. Well, I wasn't wearing any. I suggested it could be my hair, and she insisted on smelling it to check!

"That's it!" she said. "I've got to get some of that, what is it?!"

And off she went to go and get some Aussie Miracle!

The lady in question said it reminded her of holidays, but I think it brings back memories of those candy necklaces we used to wear as children. The ones with lots of pastel-coloured beads made out of sugar candy and threaded onto a piece of elastic.

There is an impressive list of ingredients claiming to put the world to rights and the packaging is nice and simple. My only concern is the German translation on the back:

'Conditioner voor slap haar, niet uitspoelen.'

(sounds more like a threat than a promise!)

So, if you're a lazy bum who hates the fuss of conditioner but loves the effects (and remember with fondness those candy sweetie necklaces!) - then this is most definitely the product for you.
