I love trying new shampoos and conditioners and have dozens of bottles in my bathroom that bare witness to my obsession! I was recently sent a Boots voucher for completing an on line survey, so was keen to spend it. I had read a few positive reviews about the Aussie range of shampoos and conditioners so decided to opt for a bottle of Aussie instant conditioner.

The conditioner comes in a fairly plain cream coloured bottle with a picture of a kangaroo on the front. I paid £3.37 for a 250 ml bottle, so it's not exactly cheap! I had imagined the Aussie hair care range was an Australian brand and had been shipped to the U.K at some expense. However on reading the back of the bottle I see its actually made in Surry! I have to say this information made me feel a bit cheated as I had imagined women with sun and sea salt damaged hair reaching for their bottle of Aussie to put thing right! Still, I was still keen to see what this could do for my abused locks.

The bottle has one of those press tops that flip open when pressed. I do find these a bit awkward with wet hands but that's only a minor irritation. Obviously you need to wash your hair before using this conditioner. The conditioner is thick and creamy and smells absolutely wonderful, so full marks here! It contains Kangaroo paw flower that apparently is used to treat depression by uplifting the spirit. The theory being that it will uplift your hair too. I'm not sure I buy into this theory but it makes for interesting reading! The kangaroo paw flower grows in South Western Australia so at least I have found an Aussie connection!

The conditioner is easy to rinse out and I have noticed that after using my hair feels instantly smoother, even before drying. I dry my hair using a hair dryer, as it's the only way to pull it into some sort of acceptable shape. I am really impressed with this conditioner as it leaves my hair feeling soft, with less frizz and looking very shinny.

I have been using Aussie instant conditioner for a few weeks now and so far, I'm very pleased with the results. Aussie also makes a range of shampoos and I will be giving some of these a go too.

Summary: Conditioner from Aussie
