Advantages: smells heavenly

Disadvantages: my hair needs washing more frequently

A few years ago I was using Aussie shampoo range on a regular basis, and it wasn't until a couple of months ago when I was browsing in Boots that I decided to buy myself some more.
I have always been a fan of the smell from the shampoo and conditioner and was pleased to re introduce myself to the familiar sweet fragrance that is the Aussie range.

I bought the luscious long conditioner because my hair has grown fairly long over the last few months and I have let it stay that way. Sometimes I think the manufacturers just invent the names for the products to entice customers to buy them and they all contain the same basic ingredients, but the marketing ploy works when you think your hair will look luscious if it's long with this product.

Aussie packages their products in very similar packaging. The conditioner is in a dense creamy bottle with a flip down lid. I always find these lids to be more difficult to open in the shower with wet hands, but despite the tiny area to press your finger into to release the lid, it is a fairly easy process.
The bottle itself is also very flexible which makes it easier for squeezing the contents out, and especially when you near the end of the bottle, trying to get the last remains out.

Pouring the contents into my hand, the shampoo comes out in quite a thick consistency and a bright turquoise colour. It's a lovely colour to see as a conditioner, and I was instantly pleased when I realised this as it's one of my favourite colours. I realise that is a very sad reason for liking a product, basing it on the colour, but I'll take my smiles where I can.
The fragrance from the conditioner is quite strong and stays with you as you leave it on your hair as a fragrance that over powers any other products you may have used.
Washing out is easy and my hair feels soft and smooth after using this conditioner. I just know at this point that I'll be sniffing my hair for hours to come.

The conditioner is actually designed to improve any frizzy ness and to improve and maintain the condition of the hair.
I have never found a product yet that will make my hair look in a better condition than it's in already, but I will say for this one that is has tamed down some of the frizz and fly away feel that I get from using other conditioners.

The thing I love more than anything about this conditioner is the smell, and I can still get a hint of the fragrance a day or so later when I come to wash my hair again.
The only downfall I can fin with this conditioner and the Aussie range in general if I'm honest is that the products tend to encourage my hair to become greasy quicker than other brands I use. Due to this I tend to get Aussie out for a couple of washes and then change to another brand for a while, so Aussie is my treat conditioner for the smell.

My 250ml bottle cost £3.42 which isn't a bad price for what you get and how long it'll last you.

Summary: a good shampoo to use occasionally
