Advantages: Yummy shampoo that does what it says on the bottle!

Disadvantages: At the moment there aren't any!

I have always had really flat hair and it has always annoyed me so much as I have said in a previous review.. So given I used a hydrating shampoo made my herbal essences that just wasn't working anymore, I decided I would change my shampoo and conditioner - in the hope my hair would appreciate something different and something that smells really nice..

So as I was walking around Asda the day I got paid I saw that this shampoo and some of the other products were on offer two for £5, which is a bit of a bargain considering normally they are at least £3.99 a bottle or more if you buy the styling products like mousse and curl spray.. Which are usually over £4..

Before I bought these I have to say I did check on both Dooyoo and ciao to see which one would be best suited for my hair and I chose this the miracle moist shampoo, after all the state of my hair I was hoping anything could work.. I was desperate!

How to spot an Aussie product..
Well it is quite simple, follow the yummy smell in the shampoo and conditioner isle.. Ok so that's not the only way but it really does have a great smell that once you open the bottle you can tell just how nice your hair is going to smell..

The Aussie shampoos themselves come in a 15cm tall bottle, with quite plain writing and pattern on it, featuring the infamous kangaroo silhouette at the top with 'Aussie' written underneath.. Of course there is the kangaroo's at the top of the bottle too which are pressed out so you can feel them on the bottle..

The bottles of shampoo tend to be in an off white colour which makes the product feel a little like it has been on the market for a while which in some way makes it seem like a fairly reliable product, and really I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't like at least one Aussie product!

Is this miracle moist shampoo any good?
Well I have to say in the past few years with the amount of times I have dyed my hair I am surprised I am not bald, a word of warning don't bother with permanent hair dyes if you can help it because in no way are you going to do your hair any favours.. My hairdresser actually told me off for using permanent hair dyes because she was tired of seeing my hair looking so sad and drab.. She was not the only one.. Having been advised that no shampoo is going to repair the damage, I went for the next best option, other than having the whole lot chopped off!

So I bought some of this, now to use it, I don't really need to explain you wet your hair with warm water and then pop out a fifty pence piece size of shampoo into your hand - or however much you need to use depending on your hair length of course.. Massaging the shampoo into your scalp and through your hair, you can already begin to smell the delicious smell that is macadamia nuts - an odd thing for a shampoo I did think but I am not complaining because it does smell amazing..

When you begin to wash the suds out of your hair as you see it, you can already tell it is happier hair even after one wash, even if you colour your hair it still looks a richer colour, even though that is not it's job on your hair which is fantastic anyway! For me when I usually wash my hair if I run my fingers through it to help get the bubbles out my hair is usually knotted even if I have brushed it before.. However this shampoo seems to eliminate that completely even if it has been up all day..

Another benefit, if you are anything like me and if you have had your hair up all day, your head hurts? Well this shampoo is brilliant at easing this pain because it is good for relaxing hair follicles by the feel of it!

What about when it is dry? Well I usually leave my hair to dry part naturally and part with a hairdryer because I feel guilty of the heat damage I put my hair under! As you dry your hair if it is with hairdryer you can feel your hair feeling a little softer which I am taking as a sign of it being a little healthier.. So you are not going to get a miracle out of one wash unfortunately, but the main thing you will notice once dry after the first few washes is that hair, is quite shiny especially in the sun, which is apparently a sign of healthy hair.. I have also found even if I air dry my hair, that it is much easier to tug a brush through than it ever was with my herbal essences, which means I am definitely doing something right!

My hair before was incredibly prone to split ends - hence why I spend a lot of time in the hairdressers unfortunately, but it seems to add a little more moisture to your hair, as much as you can realistically expect out of a bottle of shampoo.. The great thing for me especially is that since I began using it, my split ends have decreased, ok not completely gone, but still it is a big improvement on 4 weeks ago! I would definitely not use any other shampoo at the moment, perhaps a shampoo still in the Aussie range mainly because I don't want to loose the compliments that I have been given!

In the past few weeks since I have been using this a friend actually mentioned that my hair looked a lot nicer than it had done in the past, mainly because it was tamed and not sticking up and frizzy and dry.. All the things that this shampoo is meant to combat, so I say it works..

Over all I definitely recommend this shampoo because, it is quite competitively priced and there are almost always offers on them, in superdrug or boots, even wilkinsons at the moment, so it is obvious that the products are quite popular - and that you probably will not have to spend a fortune on getting lush looking hair! The way your hair feels after using just a shampoo is immense really given, it is mainly just to clean your hair, and give a little bit of shine to it! It leaves a gorgeous smell that really lasts, I personally only was my hair every other day or less than that because it doesn't get that greasy that easily which is great, but still two days after washing, and a couple of goes with the straighteners and it still smells absolutely gorgeous..

Summary: Competatively priced Shampoo that smells good enough to eat... Almost!

I too love the bubble gum smell of this shampoo.
You have to be careful with your hair when it's wet as it's at its weakest then and I find my hair is so silky with this I don't have to put my fingers through it at all. Fab review.
