I've used other Aussie stuff before but thought I'd give this one a try as my hair has been really dry lately from excessive straightening etc. I've always been worried about using moisturising shampoos in case they leave my hair greasy and limp looking, so was a bit worried about this one. It was £3.99 for the 300ml bottle which seemed fairly reasonable.

**Packaging**

It comes in a tall cream bottle with a purple lid which doesn't unscrew but clicks back. Most of the lettering is in dark purple and blue. To be honest the packaging is quite boring but also very typical of Aussie and at least it doesn't look cheap and tacky!

**My Experience**

The shampoo itself is quite thick and despite being a gel texture it looked very creamy as well which was a good sign about its moisturising ability. I had to use a fair amount to create a nice lather over all of my hair, but my hair is very long so I expect to use quite a lot of shampoo each time. The foam itself was also quite thick so was easy to massage into my hair without it all sliding off, and it also felt really luxurious and moisturising.

The foam was relatively easy to wash out but I was extra careful to make sure it was really rinsed out with it being quite thick. After towel drying my hair I always try and comb it through, and found that it was easier to comb after using this shampoo which was a nice bonus.

Despite everything going well I was still worried my hair would like greasy and horrible when dried, but I had a really pleasant surprise when it was actually quite the opposite. My hair did feel really moisturised and I even noticed it looked shinier than usual, however it wasn't weighed down at all and actually felt lighter than usual. Even the day after I was noticing that while my hair would usually be feeling slightly greasy, it felt much fresher and cleaner than usual! Therefore the shampoo moisturised but refreshed my hair at the same time which was ideal.

I don't colour my hair anymore so couldn't comment on its effects on hair colour, however I felt that the fact it made my hair look shinier really brought out the colour of my hair and made it look better.

The smell is absolutely gorgeous, it smells just like traditional bubble gum which made it really enjoyable to use. I was really pleased when my hair held the smell even after drying and I noticed that it still smelt great the following day.

**Overall Opinion**

I would recommend this shampoo to anyone needing a moisture boost for their hair without weighing it down with heavy products. I'm giving this product 5 stars because it made my hair smell great, shiny, lightweight and moisturised all at the same time, and for £4 a bottle that is great value.
