Advantages: Thick, creamy, conditioning
Disadvantages: can be expensive
I have very dry, damaged, highlighted hair which needs a lot of TLC to keep it in good condition. I have been using the Aussie range for several years as it is the one that I trust to do the job and it smell delicious too! My latest purchase of Aussie, was in the form of the Miracle Moist shampoo. It comes in the customary beige bottle with matching lid. Very simple design telling me a bit about the Macadamia Nut that is infused within the product. The emolients within will also 'quench my thirsty locks' - sound good to me! The bottle contains 300 mls and cost me £2.35 from Wilkinsons. This is a shop for bargain hunters, so expect to pay more in Tesco or Sainsbury. The bottle has a push-down lid affair to stop the shower water diluting the product, and it also handy if you are clumsy like me and tend to knock the said product off the shower shelf. On smelling, it is absolutely deliciously fragranced. I can't work out if it is the natural smell of the nut or if they have added a bubblegum fragrance too. It definitely smells bubblegummy and good enough to eat - best not though. The shampoo itself is a shiny cream colour and very thick. It glides onto the locks and massages in well. On 'drenching' your hair with water as advised in order to rinse the product out, it is fairly thick and takes some drenching. Aussie suggests you finish off by using the hair insurance conditioner to ensure that your hair is of optimum condition. This shampoo gets a definite hands up from this user!
