Big hair is a flop! (Aussie Real Volume Shampoo)

Advantages: Soft, shiny hair

The Aussie philosophy is "There's more to life than just hair but it's a good place to start" which I think is great! I am a huge fan of the Aussie hair products, especially the smells, the products I have used (including the luscious and miracle ones) smell delicious!!

I really dislike my hair, it's fine, limp, dry, lifeless hair that's also really frizzy. I think most of the Aussie range of products would be suited to my hair, it just can't decide what it is! I thought I'd move away from my usual choice of product and try something different. Casually browsing the shelves and on the front of one of the bottles read "With Australian hops, our unique formula leaves your hair with body and fullness from roots to tips. Bring on the big hair" - Perfect I thought and swiftly purchased my hair miracle in a bottle along with the same conditioner!

The next morning I stepped into the shower, sadly actually quite excited about the results of my hair products, poured it out of the bottle into my hand....yuk...the smell was horrible in comparison to the other Aussie stuff that I've used. Now I may be being a little harsh or my smell is completely off but I do think it has a slight hint of sick! On a more positive note it lathered up well and I found I didn't need to use very much of the product.

Now onto the results, I saw a slight increase in the volume of my hair at the roots but within a few hours my hair was back to normal. My hair was smooth, soft and shiny but I get this from other shampoos that are substantially cheaper and the result that I had wanted was the "big hair" advertised to me! I continued to use the product thinking it may improve with constant use but I haven't seen any change. I've switched back to my usual miracle moist products. I will now only use the volume one in emergencies if I run out of alternative products.

It's also pretty expensive at about £3.50 for a 300ml bottle which for a product that for me, didn't deliver even near the results I was hoping for. Disappointed customer!
