Advantages: sort of volumises

Disadvantages: doesn't tame frizz

I have tried a few of the Aussie products and particularly like the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. This is another shampoo I thought would be worth trying.

What is it?

A shampoo designed to boost volume and also keep those frizzy locks under control.

Packaging:

It comes in a plastic bottle with an easy to open flip top lid. They stand up well on the side of the bath.

Smell:

The smell of the Aussie range is always a draw for me, they are usually bursting with candy smells or sheer fruityness. This one had a subtler smell, a fruity smell without being sickly or overpowering.

The test:

As with most Aussie products, just a little is needed as it lathers up very well. I recommend a ten pen piece worth. Wok through from root to tip then follow with a warm rinse followed by a cool blast. After the wash, I did not notice an immediate difference, though the hair did feel clean and there were no knots or kinks in it. It seemed to rinse out product pretty well, getting rid of traces of hairspray.

Afterwards:

After a blowdry, the hair did have a little more bounce to it, though not significant enough to make me scream with delight. It did not appear to have tamed the frizz though and the fringe was still prone to kinking. It sort of works, but it did not deliver the same pleasing results that I experienced with the 3 Minute Miracle deep conditioner for keeping hair in order and adding oomph.

Price:

Expect to pay about £4.50 for a bottle, though often they are on offer where you can two for £6.00. It will give you some volume, but is not the best Aussie product in the range.
