I recently discovered Aussie Shampoos and Conditioners and was very pleased with the quality of them that I stocked up when I saw them on special offer. My favourite so far is the Miracle Moist shampoo but I thought I would try some others in the range and so my next purchsase was the "Smooth Mate Shampoo" which is designed for flyaway static hair. The shampoo comes in a 300ml bottle in Aussies trademark colours of cream and purple. It has a flip top cap which manages to stay pretty clean after frequent use which I like. The shampoo costs around £3.99 a bottle but you can often find it on special offer. The special ingredient used in ... Read the complete review

I quite like the Aussie shampoos, particularly the Three Minute Miracle Deep Conditoners, which do wonders for my dry hair in the summer months. I have a bathroom cupboard bursting with their shampoos and this is another of them that I have been pretty impressed with. Trying to manage frizzy hair can be a burden. I do not have curls, but just little frizzy bits which seem to appear from nowhere mid morning and then just worse as the day progresses. Unsuccessful results with the John Freida serums left my hair greasy and lank and sometimes I just want to use a shampoo which keeps the hair in check, without having to straighten it every day. I found this shampoo in my mother in laws bathroom and as I am always inclined to try out a new product - I gave it a go! I was sucked in by the promise of a frizz free barnet and as I have previously used other Aussie products and have been left impressed and was hoping that this could keep to their claims. The bottle is the usual beige colour of most Aussie products and features the purple Aussie logo, the name "Smooth Mate shampoo" in large font and a bit of the usual Aussie blurb about what the shampoo contains and what it can do for the customer. The bottle is 300ml and costs around £3-£4 from most large chemists/beauty stores/supermarkets. ... Read the complete review

I hate my afro hair, which has now also started to get grey strands. It has always been an afro mess, which I have hated since the age of 15 and I have tried numerous Shampoo's, Serum's and even straightening solutions on it. All I can say is thank god for hair straighteners. I do try to leave it natural sometimes though so the straighteners don't kill my hair completely. If you have read my reviews before you will know hat I have tried numerous Straightening Shampoo's to try to tame the locks but to no avail. That was until one morning when I logged onto to Dooyoo and had a lovely, helpful message off Goosey. She has been my complete saviour and suggested ... Read the complete review

Aussie Smooth Mate Static Shampoo Description: Manufacturer: Aussie / Type: Hair Shampoo. Before I begin this review, I would like to explain a little about my hair type, and why I believe that I need products like this shampoo. I have quite long, highlighted blonde hair. Unfortunately I am not one of those lucky people with gorgeous smooth hair which is manageable and shiny. Instead, of having the hair that I covet, I have slightly wavy hair which is prone to curling in the slightest drop of rain or humidity. It doesn't fall into perfect curls either, instead just looks frizzy so I have to use products designed for my hair type ... Read the complete review
