Advantages: Protects hair from split ends.
Disadvantages: Doesn't seem to add anything to the pound shop heat protector spray I once had
I used straighteners for years and constantly got spit ends. I then invested in a heat protection spray I found in the pound shop (different to this product) and it really seemed to make a difference and stop the split ends that came from straightening.
When that ran out, I was unable to find the same product again so I bought the product listed here - Aussie, take the heat. This spray works in a similar way to most. You spray onto went hair, e.g. when you come out of the shower, comb through (though I don't always bother) and then dry and straighten etc as normal. There's also no greasyness, residue or smell etc - no one would know you had sprayed it in unless they'd just watched you do it.
As with the previous spray I had tried, it does the job and keeps the split ends at bay. I would not say it is necessarily any better than others products out there, but does as promised from a heat protection point of view. The back also says it is supposed to "help you get that mirror-smooth style". I'm not really sure what that means but I've never had particularly fly away or frizzy hair so perhaps I wouldn't notice the difference. I recently purchased a second bottle to replace my nearly empty first bottle.
The price is reasonable, about £4 but often the whole aussie range is on multi buy at Boots.
Summary: Does what it says - protects hair from heat damage - recommended
