My hair of late has been really suffering. It feels rather dry and goes lack lustre alot and I know it's because it's because I go swimming and use the spa alot, I go in saunas and steams rooms often and I'm also showering a couple of times a day and washing my hair due to this fact and using the gym and stuff! So I always shampoo my hair a couple of times and use a conditioner and use an intensive conditioner two/three times a week but when I saw this product I decided to give it a go!
250ml lilac plastic bottle which is a little curvy so it's easy to handle and it has a gold coloured flip top lid to the bottom of the bottle concealing a small hole. On the front I'm told it is Advance Techniques Professional Hair Care Age Rejuvenating Treatment Rinse 'For dull, brittle, lifeless hair' and then I'm told that in a foreign language and that it's Avon and the size is stated. On the back of the bottle again I'm told what it is and then told that in several languages and contact details for Avon are given. Then when you peel back that label and I'm told how to use it (again in loads of different languages) and ingredients are listed. It's a nice looking bottle that is easy to handle and informative enough.
Directions For Use:
After shampooing, distribute evenly through hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse.
Well the liquid is white and although it has some substance I was surprised it was so thin and runny and to me it's right not to be called conditioner and to be called a rinse. However this is sublime and I've stocked up on it!
So it has a rich nondistinctive fruity smell to it, it's glossy and a little of this goes a very long way and it's easy to smear it through hair. It does feel slightly greasy but not heavy and of course you wash your hair first and use this as you would a conditioner and leave it on the hair for a couple of minutes at least. I've left it on my hair for 1-2 minutes and I've had a bath and left it on my hair for a good hour and really, well it makes no difference how you use this to the end result.
It absorbs into the hair and if you run your fingers through your hair with this on it feels smooth and untangled and really smooth.
It rinses out easily and as you rinse it out with your fingers you can really feel hair is really hydrated but not one bit greasy or anything.
After using this I let my hair dry naturally or blow dry it, again it makes no odds to the end results!
I have greasy roots and dry split ends and this is intelligent enough to help all areas of my hair. It really does tame frizz, moisturise split ends making them appear a hell of lot smoother, hair is left glossy, smelling wonderful (for hours after using it) and hair is even easier to style in my opinion.
This really is an amazing product and that's coming from someone who really isn't overly keen on Avon products at all. It's light, a little goes a long way, smells lovely and really does soften and smooth my hair in a very rich way......and for a long time without making it heavy or weighed down. In fact since using this I'd say my hair is overall in better condition and I got about 25 uses from this bottle on my shoulder length hair and that was being generous with it. Very good Avon....well done!
This unless on offer will cost you £3.00 a bottle but at the time of writing this review it is on offer for £1.80.
