I recently had a sort out of my bathroom cupboard and found this Avon Advance Technique Daily Shine 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner amongst other things. I have had a look online and I can't see this in the current Avon book but you can get it from Ebay for around £1.50.
This is a 2 in 1 so it is shampoo and conditioner in one bottle which I find is okay for my hair which is in reasonable condition however if you have really dry hair then you may need a separate shampoo and conditioner where you can choose how much conditioner you need for your particular requirements.
It is in a silver coloured plastic bottle which has the usual list of ingredients and instructions for use and that you should use it within twelve months of opening. As soon as you open the flip top lid you can smell a lovely fresh fragrance and it really is very pleasant. The liquid is a creamy white colour and it is thick enough to transfer onto your hair without it dripping.
I will squeeze about an inch and a half blob onto my hand and find that this is enough to cover my hair which is currently just shoulder length. It lathers up well and you can smell the lovely fruity smell as you are massaging it into your scalp and it feels quite thick and rich as you are working it in. When I am happy that I have covered all of my hair I will then rinse it off and find that it washes away easily and doesn't leave any residue.
Afterwards my hair feels soft straight away even when it is still wet and smells lovely. I can tell when I am drying it with the hair dryer that it has been conditioned as it always drys nice and smooth with no frizziness or fly away bits which I get if I don't use any conditioner, so the conditioner part in this product does really work for me. I can also smell the clean fresh smell for some time afterwards which is lovely.
This 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner really does leave my hair looking shiny and very well conditioned. It reminds me of the shine you get when you first have a colour on your hair as it really is a sleek look. I have been using this bottle now for a few weeks now and I expect it to last me for a few months with washing my hair every few days. It is a lovely shampoo which does exactly what it says and I would buy it again.
I have always been a big fan of Avon products and this shampoo and conditioner is no exception. I suffer with sensitive skin and an allergy to coconut, so I find it hard to find products that don't aggravate one of these problems. I am happy to say that I had no adverse reactions to the product so it has become a regular addition to the bathroom shelves.
The shampoo comes in a plastic (recyclable) bottle with bright green writing on the front. You would almost miss it was an Avon product as the Avon label is printed on the front but is quiet faint compared to the bright green writing.
The smell of the shampoo/conditioner is pleasant but not that outstanding. It has that clean chemical smell that hits you when you go to a salon. This for me is a downside as I do like my hair to smell lovely and even though this isn't unpleasant it's not fruity which is a scent that i prefer.
If you apply a small pee sized amount of the shampoo to the palm of your hand and then apply to wet hair. This product actually stretches a long way. You might think you would need more if you have long hair but you will not. It really does last and stretch a long way.
It is suitable for most hair types, my hair is shoulder length blonde and my partner has dark tight curly hair and the product has the same effect for both of us. It leaves both our hair feeling soft and light. It's easy to brush after and tangles are very rare.
The positives of the product are the results you get when using the product. Soft shiny hair, that is easy to control after. The shampoo/conditioner lasts a long time as not much is needed per use. You can buy the shampoo and conditioner separately if you would prefer either one or the other. The price is also good and as it is an Avon product it is usually reduced or on offer.
There are not really any negatives for the product other then it has one of those horrible peel back labels on the back of the bottle. With wet hands the bottle becomes slippery and the label is difficult to peel back in order to read the application instructions. But this isn't really a big issue as I am pretty sure everyone knows how to apply shampoo.
I bought this from the avon catalogue quite a while ago now, so I am not too sure what I paid. The shampoo when squirted onto your hand does have a slight fragrance to it, but that soon fades away more when you have applied it to your hair and rinsed it out. Although your hair does still smell fresh and nice, just not as powerful as when you first smell it on your hands.
I have always thought that 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners never seemed to condition my hair, and when I first used this I was right, I put just a small squirt in my hand, you do not need to much as it does lather quite a bit, then I rubbed it all in my hair and rinsed it out straight away. I was quite disappointed to find that that my hair was pretty knotted up when I cam to brush it, which is why I have always used a separate conditioner.
I never really bother reading the instructions on things like this, but before I wrote it off I decided to try leaving it in my hair for a while, like I do with normal conditioners, so after leaving it for 5 minutes I then washed it out, I was actually more surprised to find that my hair did feel softer with left knots in it when I went to brush it. I will say that using a separate conditioner I find is always best anyway, but this did come a close second. It did leave my hair feeling quite soft, I will not say it left it shiney because I have never really had shiney hair anyway.
I would recommend to buy this if you prefer not to pay for a separate conditioner as it does seem to do a good job, and its the best 2 in 1 I have ever used as I have found that most do not normally work, just remember to leave it in your hair for a while first.
First of all i'm not sure if this is still available in the 2 in 1 version. I don't tend to use 2 in 1 products all that much as I was told years ago that they weren't all that good for your Hair, but I got this as part of an offer pack a while ago and I have used it now and again. I think if you use 2 in 1's now and again then they aren't all that bad for you, hence why I have been using this bottle up for a few months now.
This is part of the Advanced Techniques range from Avon and there should be a Hair Care product for everyone. The Daily Shine products are suitable for all Hair Types and are meant to add some Shine to your hair. You can also buy this in a seperate Shampoo and Conditioner which is still available in the Avon book and there is a Shine Spray which I used now and again as well.
This comes in a 200ml bottle and I remember this used to get sold for £2.60, so just an average price for the Haircare products. The bottle looks alright. It is a thick plastic bottle and there is a stick on label on the front and back. The colouring on the label is a green colour and it looks alright. Basically it looks like the Dooyoo picture.
This is more a Cream consistency. It's a kind of Pearl consistency. It is quite thick in a way and a decent sized blob of this goes a long way. This lathers up easy enough and sticks to your hair. This rinses out easy enough and after this is rinsed out then my Hair feels strong and soft. This has a nice simple scent and quite a gentle and delicate fragrance. It is quite nice and the scent lingers on your Hair.
After my Hair is dried I found that there seemed to be a slight shine to it and also it seemed nice and Smooth as well.
So this is good for quickness and does a good enough job. I would recommend this Haircare range as it works well and it is suitable for all Hair types.
I am often in a hurry when it comes to washing my hair, we have a 2 week timetable at uni and one week I am extremely busy and the other week I'm doing nothing at all! Therefore, on the busy week I had got quite lazy and stopped conditioning my hair, just shampooing it quickly to get out the door.
Therefore when I saw this in Avon I decided to give it a go. I got it on an offer where it was priced at something like £1.50 fo 250ml. They also do a larger size of 400ml now which I will probably buy next time as it provides better value for money.
The bottle is just like that shown above, avon have recently given their advance techniques range a makeover and it looks much better for it.
To use, you simply wet your hair, then lather some of the shampoo through it and rinse. I use quite a big dollop of this usually (just over the size of a 50p piece) because I have long thick hair and this amount will lather up well through it. It rinses out well and my hair already feels quite clean and fresh after rinsing.
After my hair has dried it is nice and soft and feels clean. It does look quite dull but I try to alternate this shampoo with a different brand which helps my hair. It does condition well and I can easily brush it after washing it.
I like this shampoo as it is a brilliant price and is really useful when I am in a rush. It leaves my hair clean and soft and it cares for my hair well. I wouldnt use it every day because I dont think 2 in 1 shampoos are as good as using seperates but for what I use it for it is great.
