The bottles look exactly the same as shown above and I do like the design as it looks quite modern and simple but I would like a small clear line so you can see how much of the product is left. The bottles have a flip cap which is easy to use even when you have wet and soapy hands in the shower. I use the shampoo and conditioner together for around 50% of the time and the rest of the time I just use the shampoo. To use the shampoo I simply use a blob o...more

Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield: Gets rid of frizz in a whizz (674 words)

I have had frizzy hair since I was about 10. Me and my eldest sister definitely have our Dads hair - thick, frizzy and unruly whilst our other sister got my mums hair! I hate my frizzy hair and would do anything to have hair that you can literally wash and leave to dry without being ashamed of what you look like! I had seen this range in the Avon catalogues for a while but I hadnt bought any because I had a huge back stock of shampoos and as money was tight I really didnt want to waste any money on things that werent essential. However, a while ago I was browsing ebay and I found a pack where you could buy this frizz control with lotus shield shampoo, ...  Read the complete review

I bought this Advance Techniques frizz control shampoo and conditioner from Avon a while back, but have only recently rediscovered them among all of my other hair and beauty products. ~ Price and availability ~ The shampoo and conditioner normally cost £2.80 each, but are currently half price at just £1.40 each, which I think is fantastic. They are available online at www.avonshop.co.uk or can be ordered through the Avon brochure via your local Avon representative. ~ Packaging ~ The shampoo and conditioner come in grey plastic bottles with 'Avon Advance Techniques frizz control' on the front and a orange and silver circular ...  Read the complete review

After seeing all the hype over this product on the television adverts and the build up to the product launch in Avon catalogues I was very excited to finally get my hands on it, even though it was just a sample. - - - - - - - - - The claim - - - - - - - - - Avon say that their new Advance Techniques anti-frizz serum LOTUS SHIELD forms a protective lightweight barrier on hair that is capable of holding up in up to 97% humidity. The real difference between this and other serums is how Avon claims that the results last through two washes, so this only needs applying every third wash. - - - - - - - - - - The bottle - - - - - - - - - - The screw cap bottle is bright orange. Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield: No frizz reduction (437 words)
by - written on 14/07/12 (Very useful, 20 readings)
Rating:

One thing I really hate about my hair is the frizz, when I straighten it it straightens really well but I don't want to have to do this every day and so when I saw that Avon had brought out this product I was quite excited to try it. As with most Avon products it was on offer due to it being a new release so I got it at £5 a bottle instead of the normal price of £7 a bottle. I wouldn't usually pay this amount for a shampoo and conditioner but knew that if it worked it would be worth the price. Obviously this product is only available from Avon but if you don't have an Avon representative you can buy online although you have to spend over £20 to get it without ...  Read the complete review
