Advantages: Smells nice, leaves hair glossy and smooth, gets rids of flyaways
Disadvantages: Slightly boring packaging
I bought some products of Avon for stocking fillers recently and spotted their Advance Techniques Straight and Sleek range. I can be a bit lazy when it comes to beauty and i love taking the odd shortcut.
I love having straight hair but hate having to straighten it every single day as it becomes a bit of a chore. My hairs quite wavy so im always looking for products to tame it.
I bought the Advance Techniques Straight and Sleek Smoothing Balm. Its suitable for straight or wavy hair and has a Tri - Keratin system. Avon says it eliminates split ends and breakage.
A tube of this is 100 ml and Avon advise you to use it with their shampoo and conditioners for best results. After i had washed my hair, i applied a blob of the product to the palm of my hand.
Its like a white glossy gel and has a really pleasant smell (i cant place what it smells like but its really nice) I rubbed it over my palms and worked it through my damp hair. I blow dryed my hair until it was dry and couldnt believe the difference.
I could hardly notice my split ends and my hair felt really soft and smooth. It looked really glossy and healthy and it looked like i had almost had a haircut! It made such a difference to my hair that i was delighted and would definitely buy it again. I noticed to that i didnt have as many flyaway hairs and my hair was a lot easier to straighten than it normally is.
I got this for a pound from Avon which i think is a great price and would definitely pay full price for it. This is just the product i had been looking for. Some brands names can cost up to ten pounds for the same type of product so im glad i discovered this.
I hadnt used it with Avons shampoo and conditioner as recommended but it still gave great results. I straightened my hair with my GHDs afterwards and did my whole head in less than ten minutes which is great for my hair.
Summary: Get some
