===Why I Bought This===

As we all get older our hair tends to lack a little something. Having always had thin and fine hair anyway it is now showing that it needs some care and attention so seeing this in the Avon catalogue along with the corresponding shampoo and conditioner I thought i would try them all together to see what boost I could give my hair.

===The Brand===

Avon is a long established direct selling network which used to sell just door-to-door but you can order directly from their website these days if you do not have a local representative handy.

===My Opinion===

Well I was expecting quite good results with this product as I had also got the shampoo and conditioner from the same range as well - as I thought using them all together would have better results -and it does state on the packaging you will get 2 x the volume - a brave claim.
I had used the shampoo first and rinsed well. I towel wrapped my hair to remove excess moisture and then used the conditioner.
This foam is quite ligtweight in texture and not sticky at all. Having short hair I usually use some sort of setting lotion to give it a bit of body and to also hold it in place.
This foam did hold it in place a bit - well better than nothing but not as good as the liquid setting lotion I have previously used.
As compared to my regular setting lotion this foam took longer to dry and be ready to come through and also did not give any volume or bounce - and I did not see anywhere near 'double the volume'
I noticed no visible improvement to my hair at all and in fact I would say it was duller than normal - rather than being improved.
Avon claim that it 'helps protect from heat styling' but as I did not use any heat I cannot comment..
Some people who have left reviews on the Avon website are singing its praises so I am not sure where I am going wrong - however a few have felt the same as me..
Not a lot more to say about it really - some rave over the Advance Techniques range but apart from the odd product such as their Leave In Conditioner I have not been very impressed.
As you have a money-back guarantee with Avon try it if you wish - you may be one fo the lucky ones it works for - but personally I saw no difference at all.

===Promises much but does not deliver===

===Star Rating===

3 - OK as a setting type lotion/foam I suppose but not much volume.

===Would I Recommend?===

Not really.
