Advantages: Price, fragrance, results!!

Disadvantages: The bottle and packaging, although practical, is a little dull!

**Product Price and Availability**
Avon Naturals Almond Oil & Avocado Moisturising Shampoo is only available directly from Avon, either through your Representative or from www.avonshop.com.

I paid 99p for my 250ml bottle as the product was in the sale, but the regular price is £2.00.

**The Packaging**
The shampoo is packaged in a cream coloured plastic bottle with an easy to use flip top lid. The lid is actually on the bottom of this bottle, so when stood next to the shampoo of the same range it looks upside down! The label on the front is of an olive green colour, with product description and a picture of almonds and avocados.

The back of the packaging has the usual Avon peel away label with directions of use and product description in many languages and the list of ingredients.

The Green Dot Symbol is shown, indicating that Avon are compliant with the Germany Packaging Ordinance. The bottle is also recyclable showing HDPE 2 symbol. Finally, a shelf life of 12 months after opening is indicated.

**Using the Product**
After applying, working in and thoroughly rinsing the shampoo I apply the conditioner. The conditioner is of a rich dark creamy peach colour and dispenses from the bottle with ease with a gentle squeeze. The product smells very strongly of almonds and almond oil, but little of avocado. A very pleasant fragrance.

I work the conditioner into my hair, not directly to the roots, but about 2 inches from the scalp and right to the ends of my hair. I use a good dollop of this to get through my hair, about the size of three 50 pence pieces. Straight away I can feel this working as it detangles my hair.

Once dried and styled my hair feels clean and tangle-free.

**My Verdict**
I would definitely use this product again and for just 99p I would say this is great value and I would recommend this to anyone with dry or damaged hair. My hair is coloured, and although is in good condition I always like to add moisture to it.

The light fragrance lingers for a little while and this makes the whole experience very pleasant.
