Advantages: Smells nice

Disadvantages: Doesn't make much difference to hair condition

I straighten my hair regularly, and I worry about the effect the heat has on my hair. I use a hair mask or intensive conditioner once a week to give it a bit of a boost and to hopefully help counteract the drying effects caused by my straighteners.

~Packaging~

This comes in a small, round plastic pot, with screw top lid, and contains 125ml of product, which, if using once a week, I would say would last 4-5 weeks, more if you have shorter hair. As you can see by the picture provided, the pot is peach in colour, and quite nice to look at.

~Using it~

On opening the pot you will instantly notice the lovely fruity smell, which I assume must be the papaya. It's a very pleasant smell, which is not too overpowering.
The first time I used this, I was fairly surprised to see that there were no instructions for use on the packaging. Given this, I had to improvise, so I applied it to my hair and left for about 5 minutes, as this is generally how you use these sort of products.
The cream itself is white, and very runny I thought. With most hair masks I have used in the past, they are like conditioner, but a lot thicker in consistency, which made me think this was a bit strange.

~Results~

Once my hair was dry, it had a lovely subtle fruity smell, which was quite nice. Condition wise, it didn't seem to have changed much, usually after using one of these types of treatments, it is notably softer, but unfortunately with this product I didn't find that it made much difference at all.

~Price~

The normal price of this product is £2.50, but I bought it when it was on special offer for £1, from my sister who is an Avon rep. You can also purchase online from www.avonshop.co.uk

~Overall Opinion~

I will not be buying this again, I am currently using VO5 mud miracle, which does not cost much more, but gives noticeably better results. The only positive things I can say about it were the delicious smell and the packaging was OK.
