~*~*~ Avon Paddle Brush ~*~*~ A few years back when I was in college doing a hairdressing & beauty course I bought a fantastic paddle brush which I loved. It made blow drying my hair easier and just generally left my hair looking good, however I lost it when I moved and I was/am gutted! When I saw these paddle brushes on ...  Read the complete review

I have long hair and so always like to use quality brushes when brushing my hair to try and help protect it and minimise damage. A few years back, a friend at work used to bring her Avon brochure in to work and whilst flicking through it I spotted some brushes which were part of a promotional special price at around £2- £3 each at ...  Read the complete review

I have had my Avon paddle brush for a few years now. ~ Appearance ~ It is different to that pictured. Mine is grey in colour and my brush looks bigger than the one in the picture. It is 4 inches wide and nearly 5 inches from the top to the neck of the handle (about 10cm x 13cm). 'Avon' is in light grey lettering at ...  Read the complete review

Avon paddle brush: what a bargain! (248 words)
by - written on 03/12/12 (Useful, 7 readings)
Rating:

I needed a new hair brush quite desperately as mine had had its day, so when I was flicking through the Avon catalogue and the deep red colour of the paddle brush with its silver detail caught my eye I ordered it straight away. The appearance of the brush makes it look quite expensive so when I saw that it cost £3.75 marked down from ...  Read the complete review

Avon Paddle Brush: Good quality good value brush (333 words)
by - written on 21/10/12 (Very useful, 48 readings)
Rating:

==Overview== I bought the paddle brush from the Avon brush range a couple of years ago as it was such good value for money (think I paid around £4 for it). The casing of the brush is quite lightweight and the brush section has a flexible pad with lots of plastic bristles coming out of it which are lined up quite finely so you ...  Read the complete review

In the mornings my hair usually resembles something of a birds nest, and often rushing around to get ready for work and a 3 year old to drop off at grandmas/nursery taking hours in front of the mirror to do my hair is a luxury I really don't have time for! I know so many avon representatives and I do like to try help out, so after ...  Read the complete review

Avon Paddle Brush: My Bargain Brush (470 words)
by - written on 24/08/12 (Very useful, 19 readings)

Living in a house full of girls you'd think that we have brushes available left right and center, however it's quite the opposite and they always seem to be disappearing! To resolve this we always just buy new brushes from the Avon catalogue because they seem to always have offers on with a great variety of brushes to choose from for our ...  Read the complete review

Avon Paddle Brush (596 words)

Despite not having thick hair I still use a paddle brush which tends to surprise people if they see me use it. I find that other brushes hurt my head too much, in particular the kind that have hard plastic bristles and they tend to tug more also or strangely not tug enough so that my head hurts or my hair is still very much ...  Read the complete review

I am very fortunate to have thick and naturally curly hair, which has always been fairly easy to style and a couple of months ago I took the plunge and had it cut from waist length to just below my shoulders. Despite my hair being considerably shorter, one of my biggest problems has always been finding good brushes and combs, as they ...  Read the complete review

As I have naturally curly hair and one of the items that I wouldn't be without (as well as my GHD's) is my paddle hair brush. Last year, I decided to purchase a spare one to keep at our caravan and I was shocked to see how much they are so when I spotted one in the Avon catalogue at work at the bargain price of £2.50, I decided to ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Avon Paddle Brush

I bought this when on offer in the Avon brochure and I couldn't recommend it enough, Unlike others i have used it doesn't pull and always leaves my hair feeling soft and knot free in no time. I also recommend this brush to accompany straightners.

Just after Halloween I misplaced my paddle brush at a friends house and never got it back, so I decided to order one from the Avon (my mother in law is an Avon representative so I always have a book handy). The paddle brush was £7.50 to buy originally, but I got mine for £3.75 in a half off deal, which I thought was pretty ...  Read the complete review

Paddle away! (271 words)

I bought this paddle brush as Avon described it as being perfect for long and/ or thick hair. It was on a half price offer and I think it was £4 but don't quote me on that as it was a good while ago when I bought it! The brush is a rectangular shape and red in colour. It is cushioned to create a massaging effect when brushing your hair ...  Read the complete review

I have been using Hair Brushes and Combs from Avon for about 3 years now. To be honest I can't remember what kind of Brush I was using before, but it was probaly just a normal sort of rounded one which was probably quite similar to this one but not as large. I have below shoulder lenght hair and it is thick as well. It also ...  Read the complete review

I have long and very think hair and as such I am forever brushing it as it gets tangled easily, as I brush my hair so much I wanted a brush which had a large head and therefore I would use less strokes to brush my hair and therefore less damage and breakage hopefully.
