Advantages: It did make my hair feel nicer

Disadvantages: It is expensive and not outstanding

I bought this product while it was on special offer a while ago and have used the entire bottle now. It was a very small bottle admittedly and lasted my hair for three treatments. This product is normally £3.00 for a 50ml bottle, but is currently half price. When I got my bottle it was 75% off, making it 75p.

The product comes in a clear plastic bottle and the packaging carries the Green Dot symbol.

The oil itself is a very pale greeny colour which to me smells liek really cheap bubble bath. I am not at all keen on the smell and it almost put me off trying the product for the first time.

Avon recommend that the bottle is warmed in hot water for one minute and that the oil is applied to wet (not washed) hair. I did this and left for the recommended minute before thoroughly rinsing out and washing with my usual shampoo. I did notice that my hair felt and looked good for that day and it seemed to condition the ends well. Over a course of about three weeks I used the contents of the bottle up over three washes adn each time the oil had a good effect.

I did find that at the next wash without the oil my hair returned to its normal condition. I accept that if I were to use this product probably twice a week it may ever so slightly improve the condition of my hair, but at the price of £3.00 for effectively three washes (and less if you have really long hair) I would not buy this again.

I do not like the smell and the product was frankly not outstanding enough for me to spend big on!
