Babyliss 2070U You Curl Curling irons

Description: Manufacturer: Babyliss / Type: Hair Straighteners / Relaxers

Newest Review: ... of sense, but trust me it works better.. It gives far better defined curls than the way Babyliss suggest and it is also a lot ... more

... quicker in the long run.. ~*~ Check out the curls ~*~ As always with curlers, the tightness of the curls is based around the thickness of the strand you use to curl it with. The thinner the strand the more defined the curl will be, I have also found with these that the thinner the strand the longer the curl lasts. Of course having thicker bands of hair to curl means larger curls with more bounce and movement, which also gives your hair a little more body.. I tend to mix both into my hair so it doesn't look too full ...more

Premium Review Babyliss 2070U You Curl Curling irons: You Curl I Curl - We Can All Curl! (1234 words)
by - written on 25/06/09 (Very useful, 370 readings)
Rating:

Its always been something of a mystery to me why my hair cannot decide if it wants to be straight or curly - so I have always had to use a bunch of hot styling products to keep it from being statically wavy.. Since I decided I wanted curly hair occasionally I knew I would have to buy something that could provide those curls with as little hassle as possible.. Having tried a few curlers in the past with no luck, this was the next on my list! ~*~ So what is the Babyliss You Curl? ~*~ Advertised as a revolutionary curler, this curling iron has a different look to all other curlers on the market.. Gone is the traditional barrel curler in with a new ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Leaves hair frizzy, not curly. (220 words)

I was really excited to buy these curlers as on the advert the looked excellent, easy to use and got the exact curl i was looking for! After going to a few shops and finding they were sold out in many places, it uplifted by confidence in the product because if everyone wants them they must be good! When I finally found them I couldnt wait to get home and try them. They came in a professional black box and inside came a booklet on how to use them. After reading the instructions i decided to give them a go, it looked easy enough. It definatly wasnt. When using them how it instructed it left my curls limp but also frizzy. My hair isnt ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Babyliss 2070U You Curl Curling irons: Here come the curls... (396 words)

I have got into a bit of 'hair rut' over the past couple of months, I tend to wear my hair 'au naturelle' (ie wavy) if I am feeling lazy, or poker straight if I can be bothered to plug in the straighteners! Following a recent visit to the hairdressers where I left with a tumble of cascading curls I decided that maybe I could introduce a further style to my repertoire...new year, new me! I saw this product on sale at my local Boots store (£35) and it resembled the gadget that my hairdresser had used, so decided to give it a go. The appliance resembles a cross between a pair of straighteners and curling tongs. There is a straight flat plate that heats up with ...  Read the complete review

I know when I admit this your all going to think I am sad! But after watching Lauren Conrad on The Hills again I couldnt help but feel jealous! I wanted the tumbling beach curls she had. I had tried nearly every product under the sun to get it from the sea salt sprays to curlers which gave me afro like hair. But a few weeks later I recieved Babyliss You Curls for my birthday, and I was excited to try them out! They come in a sleek black box with a picture of them women on the front sporting the exact curls I wanted! On the back is a step by step instruction of how to achieve these curls, after a quick look I decided it seemed easy enough. Pulling ...  Read the complete review
