I received these straighteners as a birthday gift. I had orginally wanted some GHD straighteners but after doing my research on the internet I found out that these straighteners were apparently just as good and half the price.

The hair straighteners come in a very funky case which has it's own heat resistant pad. The case is very handy and protects them if you take them on holiday or somewhere. The heat resistant pad is a extremely useful, with my old straighteners I used to place them on my desk whilst waiting for them to warm up which made a big mark on the top so this time I can just pop them onto the mat and not worry about burning something. The cord is also very long, it can easily reach from one side of a room to another.

The straighteners themselves heat up to 230 degrees very quickly so you don't have to wait around. It's best to use a heat protective spray (I use treseme). I then seperate my hair into sections and straighten each section at a time, and then go over it all again at the end.

Now, my hair is very thick and wavy and usually takes ages to straighten, but with these it does it very quickly. Overall it takes about 15 minutes to get it straight where as before it would take at least half an hour. It also stays straight throughout the day (unless it's really windy and it goes a bit wavy!).

I highly reccomend these hair straightners as they are great value and leave your hair looking smooth and of course straight. 10/10 in my opinion.
