Nearly if not just as good as GHDs (BaByliss 2085U Pro 230 Straighteners)

Advantages: very low priced, just as good as GHDs, longer garantee, last longer.

Disadvantages: The position of the off/on button is right near where you hold it so can easily be turned off by acc

Good hair straighteners, almost if not as good as GHDs for straightening hair. They heat up just as high and as quick as GHDs. There is a volume contro for the heat. The ceramic plate puts a shine on your hair, which is just great for people whos hair looks dry. I have really thick hair and the plates just glides through no problem. These straighteners are a great price. You can now get them for £35.00. GHDs are £100+ , only have a garantee of 2 years and they break after 3 (well mine and a few other peoples have). These straighteners have a garantee of 5 years and have lasted me 2 years so far so fingers crossed. They have also got felt around the top of the straightners which seems to help them to not feel as hot on the outside, but i suppose this keeps the heat on the inside.
They can be used to curl hair too because the straighteners have a rounded edge, so they dont leave a straight line kink in the curl.
Something I would change is the position of the on off button as it is where I hold them and sometimes I can turn them off without realising.
