Babyliss 2088U

I bought these to replace another pair of Babyliss straighteners. They weren't as nice as the 2088U (cost me £20-30, can't remember how much exactly) and were a couple of years old, and one day overheated and singed my hair! After that experience I typically would shy away from the brand but I knew many people who had premium Babyliss straighteners and swore by them; Boots was luckily having a sale so I managed to buy these for 40% off. I got these straightners about 6 months ago and I think they are great. I have tryed GHD and I think they are the same as them. My hair is naturally kinky and wavy so I need to have a good pair of straightners. I love it when my hair is straight. When mine other pair of straightners stoped working for me I had a look around and I saw the Babyliss 2088U pro 230 elegance. I bought them for £75.00 but now you can get them for about £35.00 from amazon and ebay. They take about 30 seconds heat up and top temperature of 230°C.
