Initially, I bought these straighteners because of the new glass plates. I thought these would help control frizz and dryness. But boy was I wrong. These are definitely not suitable for thick wavy hair like mine. Unless you split it into about 100 sections. They are very suited to thin hair but cannot handle anything more. As soon as I used these I was disappointed. Especially having paid £50 for them. The comb just got stuck in my hair and tugged at it and it took half an hour just to get straighten a kink and even then it was still there. I cannot not tell you how disappointed with these I was. So I thought right, it's the sales surely I can find a bargain that will straighten my long locks and boy, did I! * Why these straighteners stood out from the crowd * The brand. As a brand, Babyliss make loads of different beauty products like curlers, hairdryer, foot spa, etc. Throughout my life, I've had a number of Babyliss' products and they have never failed me. The price. I would never go for the cheapest straighteners again but I can't afford to pay £100 (at least) for GHDs. I need quality at an affordable price. These were originally ...
