Advantages: Just as good as GHDs, high heat, gorgeous handy case, 5 year guarantee.

Disadvantages: Possibly a bit too pricey. Poor steam function.

These straighteners are in almost every respect as good as GHDs. These are probably the most expensive straighteners I ever bought (97 quid) and I'm still not quite sure I should have splashed out so much money on them. These, however, have a 5 year manufacturers guarantee which I found to be a big incentive as my last ones broke after just over a year. They look gorgeous with a handy bag to carry them in and use as a mat. Beyond the aesthetic look of the product, however, these heat up to pretty high heats extraordinarily fast so they're very good in a hurry. Having tried my friend's GHDs I also have experienced very little difference between both makes. The one disappointment with this product for me is the steam function which is much more inferior to my last pair of straighteners which had a steam button. I feel you have very little control over the steam function and that it runs out of steam very quickly. Steam, I find, is very effective upon my hair and it annoys me that this feature isn't so great.
All in all, the straighteners are pretty good but maybe a bit overpriced.
