Advantages: Price is lower than GhD, amazing salon finish

Disadvantages: Truly none that i can think of

To be honest, I was quite wary before purchasing this as I was quite surprised that a claim could be made that a straightener had the same or even better effects than a GhD. I mean my hair is quite thick and although all straighteners work on me, I was looking to buy GhD's so that I had the ultimate flawless finish. Around this time, I had seen an advert on TV and I had also been looking through the Argos catalogue, and I came upon the Babyliss Radiance, so naturally I read the product description and it made me tempted to buy it. I do not regret it though as it is by far the best straigtener that I have owned.

Product comes with a mat [for heat protection], 4 sectioning clips and a pouch to store everything in. Maximum heat is 230°C which can be heated up in half a minute and although you may be thinking 'well a lot of straighteners have maximum heat of 230°C so what's different about this straightener?', it's not the heat that makes the difference, it's the additional features. On the ceramic plates, there are these sort of fins that are easily retractable and they sort of comb the hair as you're straightening, giving a salon finish and these fins have 2 levels depending on hair type and thickness. Another factor is the ionic steam that gets rid of frizziness and allows your hair to be shiny as well as straight. Not many straighteners can achieve both, but Babyliss Radiance is true to its word. Also a unique factor about Babyliss Radiance is that it has 4 ceramic heaters whereas normal straighteners only have 2, therefore as you can imagine, these additions aswell as the maximum heat will really give you that flawless salon finish. Truly amazing. Well worth it, and you wont have to spend hundreds just on a GhD, when there are loads of places which are selling it for about £60, amazon included.
