... mine for £30 instead of £60. Bargain! Having not had a great deal of experience with straighteners, I wouldn't be able to say how this compares with other brands but from what I have experienced, these are great. They come in a stylish box and have a nice design themselves. It has a nice little protective mat to put down when warming up the straighteners, which is always a good measure to avoid damaging your carpet! The straighteners are light enough to move around above your head, but still feel sturdy which is ...more

I have thick wavy hair and i like to have my hair straight and thin..I bought babyliss straightners a year ago.. I had straightners before and they didnt give a god result..i had to go over a section of hair loads of times before it went straight but what i like about these ones is that you can only go over the hair once or twice and its done..saves so much time..They heat up in under 60 seconds and cool down very quickly. I comes with a heat proof mat which is good as you can put them on that and not worry bout your surfaces. The temperature There is a dial inserted between the handle which is 1-10.... 1-3 would be for really thin hair..or frindges 4-6 ...  Read the complete review

It took me a long time to come around to the idea of using hair straighteners, as I had always been quite worried about damaging my hair. It did get to a point where I was sick of having those irritating bits of frizzy hair or unwanted curly bits that seem to stick up all over the place. I got a boots voucher for Christmas last year and I was eager to spend it as soon as possible (of course !) so I trotted down to the store and thought that as they would essentially cost me nothing I would give it a trot. Due to a sale as well, I got mine for £30 instead of £60. Bargain! Having not had a great deal of experience with straighteners, I wouldn't be ...  Read the complete review

Ladies and Gentlemen: I am on a quest. It?s a never-ending search for smooth, glossy, silky, shiny, and straight as a poker hair. Yesterday, I bought another pair of straighteners. But this isn?t an op about them ? it?s all about the ones I had before them. I?m building up to the new ones, but for a good comparison, and to explain why I felt it necessary to purchase some new ones, I thought it would be a wise idea to review the old ones first. Firstly, a little bit about my hair. I am a natural strawberry blonde, even though I look ginger on my Ciao photo! My hair tends to be quite fluffy and soft, which may sound good, but on a bad day I walk around looking ...  Read the complete review

If you have ever used hair straighteners you will know that they do really all vary. I think we all have an item that we just have to look at it and it goes wrong. I am like that with coffee makers and my daughter is like that with hair straighteners. In her time she must have bought everyone going on the market and the longest they have lasted is a couple of months. At last though we have found one that (touch wood) is really brilliant. It does the job and is vertically undestroyable! It is called Babyliss Pro 200 slim ceramic straightener. The first good thing is that it comes with a 3 year ...  Read the complete review
