Advantages: Removes waves, Free sectioning clips, Heat up very fast

Disadvantages: Doesnt remove frizz, The cool tip isnt cool

On reading all the positive points of this product in argos!, i purchased this straightener for £49.99 which probably makes is a fairly good appliance. On testing the straighteners they heated up very quickly as it says on the box and have a large variaty or heat setting for different hair types. I used heat setting 25, which is the highest and claims to give a salon finish, as i have slightly wavy hair which is very frizz prone . The straighteners were on the whole very easy to use however the box claimed the material on the top outside part was a cool spot but i found it actually go quite hot.
On staightening my hair i found they had taken the kinks out of my hair so it was very straight however it was not less frizzy or flatter as i had expected. If you are looking for straigheners to get rid of waviness these are great, but no so good for making your hair less frizzy. You also need a leave-in conditioner to protect your hair from the heat.
