Woo Hoo my First Review..

My old straightners, Babyliss Steam and shine, Used to be very usful.......but slow, and my sister forgot to turn them off one day and they turned brown.Then the water tank fell off.But i got these well before "ceramic straigtners" were ever even heard off.But i was happy as i didnt know any better. Then comes the The Babyliss Professional Slim Ceramic Straightning Irons, i was VERY impressed.

After my Old Straighters exploaded, i decided it might be time to get a new pair.I was thinking about buying GHD's as a girl at school had them.At this point i didnt realise this girl was RICH! £95 for straightners, i couldnt afford that! I asked my Hairdresser what would be a good alternative for my oh-so cheap budget.She told me Solid ceramic plates(such as ghd and hairtools) would wreck my hair and recommended High Heat Ceramic-Coated Ones instead, such as Futura, or Babyliss Pro's. Futura looked alfully bukly for my thin fluffy, fly-away hair, so i decided to look in my Argos Catalogue for These Babyliss Pro's.

Woah, sounds good for £30.00 anyway! I decided i was goin to go into the nearest city the next day to buy them.

While Shopping in my local boots store looking for Charles Worthington heat protector spray (which i highly recommend if u straighten your hair alot) There was my beloved Straighters in a Cute Little Orange, Black and Silver Box lying Peacefully on the top shelf. Being 5ft 1in i needed to ask an assistant to help me get them down.I didnt think twic

e about buying them as they were so cheap! I didnt even have to travel to get them! They are very easy to get a hold of if i managed to get a hold of them in a pathetically small town like mine. When i went to the desk to buy them, The Lady told me she actually owned these straighters and said i had made a very good choice, as she loves them! Chuffed as i was i made my way home to use them straight away.

According to the box they had.... cool tips,Easy grip handles, cool touch heat resistant fabric,Floating plates for even pressure, Ultra slim ceramic coated, high temperature plates, on off switch, and swivel cord.Under Close Inspection, i saw the product had all of these, but to be honest i was slightly worried about the slim plates as i was used to big ones.The Appliance is quite classy in appearance too.Long,Slim, and Black with a small On/off switch and red indicator
light. The Fabric on the outer side of the plates looked different as it's the first of it's kind i've seen.These proved to be very useful when straightning.

The Actual Straightning

After My shower i blow dried my hair with extra care making sure it was bone dry as The Instruction Booky highlights MAKE SURE HAIR IS DRY AND COMBED BEFORE USE.Taking off the PVC Wrapper, i was expecting the cord to be slightly longer than it was considering it was designed for salon use, but it's all good.The Book says to leave them to heat for 5 mins but i found they were hot enough by 3mins.The first thing i smelt was a burning plastic-ee smell, which i put down to them being wrapped in PVC for months.I sprayed on my Heat Protector Spray ( Remember Ladies, very impotant if u dont want hair like straw) then straightned away.It slid through my hair very easily and made it poker straight in one stroke and there was no frizz whatsoever! Just Shiny,Smooth, Sleek Hair. It made my hair look so long aswell as every single kink had been staightened away! It took only about
5mins
to do my whole head! The Slimmer Plates werent a problem at all the were actually a huge advantage.
And the Smooth straightness wont leave your hair until u get it wet ( a little rain or moisture wont wreck your style though!) Unlike my old straightners which kept ur hair straight for no time at all.

UPDATE:DONT LEAVE THESE ON 4 LONGER THAN U NEED AS THE CERAMIC GETS DAMAGED!!

These Straightners are the best ive tried so far and for £30.00,Its a miracle i reckon.
I highly recommend these straighters to anyone and everyone. A definate 5/5.
