Advantages: effective, cheap, easy to use

Disadvantages: mightn't be as good for really curly hair as a GHD might.

I used to believe to achieve shiny poker straight hair , a trip to the hairdressers was the only option but I realised how wrong I was when I was introduced to ceramic hair straighteners!

Despite the fact the GHD does a great job, i wasn't willing to spend nearly 150 euro on one no matter how straight my hair turned out! So I had a flick through the Argos Catalogue and found a Babyliss straightener for just 48 euro!...waut a minute! 48 euro?? What was wrong with it?

Not convinced of its effectiveness, I asked around and the result was me purchasing one the next day! It took just five minutes to heat up and my hair was straightened free of kinks, even at the ends! It even managed to make my hair look extra shiny and really healthy!

For myself, it was a great buy as my hair isn't really curly but does have kinks in it yet I never managed to keep it straight myself until now!
In my oppinion, a great buy for someone with hair that tends to wave and kink and who is also on a budget!
