Being a guy I was a bit stuck when it came to buying straighteners... I didnt want to pay too much for them but i also wanted them to be good enough so that i didnt need to sit for hours to get them to work. I found babyliss!

These were on offer at Argos for £20 and I thought they were a bargain! What's more, there were so many complimentary reviews on it here that I thought I would giver them a try.

When I got them home I tried them immediately. I was extremely impressed - they only took 5 mins to heat to a moderate 190°. I ran them through my hair and was fairly impressed with how straight it went almost immediately. Now, Ive been using these for almost 4 months and am not considering any other straighteners for some time yet. I simply have no need to, these do everything I need.

You may think that men straightening their hair is a bit pointless... I must say that I used to think that before a friend introduced me to the idea. It makes your hair so much easier to style and you can control it. (For me, that was a first!)

Being this hot, however, means that you run a risk of damaging your hair with them so it is a good idea to use a heat protection spray (I use one by Lee Stafford).

All in all, this straighteners are great for the price, they do the job I ask and in a fairly small amount of time. Put simply, these are great!
