For years my friend has raved and not lived without her hair straightners. In fact she is such a big fan she has a spare pair!

Well she came and stayed with me for a while and so curious as I was I decided to try them out. I had just had my hair cut into a bob and after just blowing/air drying it curled and frizzed everyway except the way I wanted!!

So I switched them on and within minutes I saw why she was such a fan. Because the Babyliss ones are thinner than others its EASY to curl your hair under and it STAYS like that all day!

SO I went to boots and low and behold they had £5 off, unfortunatly I was 200 points short so I had to pay cash.
So bought the babyliss straight and shine plus and they are the new version which include a comb and shine attachments.
I tried the shine attachment but it didnt really make much off a difference from straightners on their own. The comb attachment however I always use. Make sure you brush your hair well first or it can be a painfull experience!

The comb keeps the section of hair straight while straightning and makes it easier to use. I use the straighners predominantly to straighten/defrizz and curl my hair under.
TO curl under as you are reaching the bottom of hair section twist your wrist to and curl under. I always over emphasis the curl so it stays like that all day.

Also as the product suggests it steams, so it has a small watertank which you fill with water and thus they steam. They can be used without the water also.

So to sum up the Pros:-
defrizzes hair
fairly cheap (£15.99)
easy to curl hair under
Gives you that salon look
