Advantages: Great smell, gives oily roots a great pick me up

Disadvantages: A quick fix only

We all have bad hair days, me especially, sometimes you just don't have time to wash it for whatevr reason or like ,e, my hair doesn't need washing but I jump in the shower and as I get out my hair suddly has turned into a flat frizzy mess! I suffer from having a greasy parting, the ends look ok but the top of my head, yuk so when reading an artile in a magazine I found out about the product, Batiste, a dry shampoo that refreshes your hair, so off I went to the shops (I brought mine in tesco) and from that day on, gone was the 'yuk factor'!!

The product itself comes in a 150ml aerosol can, I recognised the product that was in the magazine instamtly as it is in a distinctive green tin. All you have to do is shake the can before use and hod approx. 30cm away from your hair then spray over your hair trying to give an even coverage, I managed this as the spray comes out as a gfine mist. You are then recomended to massage the product into your hair however I now simply leave mine in my hair for a few seconds before brushing it out.

The product does exactly what it says on the tin, it 'refreshes hair between washes' It is a quick fix and won't leave your hair looking like you have just had a salon treatment but when you are like me and just want to get rid greasy roots, it is perfect. The smell is refreshing and does leave your hair smelling great which to me is as good as the clensing side of it.

Considering the product has been around for 30 years I was shocked that I have only recently found it. It is available in most supermarkets as well as high street retailers such as Boots and Superdrug.

The product also comes in to other fragrances which I may try in the future, the Tropical product, described as having a summery scent and the blush product which is the scent of lily and peony.

I would definatly recomend this product for those who suffer with oily roots as it really does give a pick me up to dull or lifless hair, however it is only a quick fix

* I paid £1.98 for my Batiste original.

Summary: A little bottle of 'greatness!'
