Disadvantages: Makes you prematurely grey if you spray too close... lol

As my fellow ladies will know (and the men too) us women can take one hell of a long time to get ready... and if like me, you don't have a lot of time, Batiste Dry Shampoo is a life saver.

Unfortunately for me, I have every girl's hair nightmare, dry frizzy ends and greasy roots. Bleurgh, this means that I have to wash my hair more frequently than I probably should (not helping the dryness one bit!) and when you're in a rush, late or have overslept, this is not practical and is very time consuming.

Cue my hero, batiste. One quick spritz of this and my lack lustre locks suddenly look presentable. I wouldn't advise it as a wash replacement, but it certainly refreshes hair between washes.

I bought mine for £1.75 from Wilkinsons but generally I think it retails at around £1.99. In my opinion this is a bargain.. I mean how much do we pay for a decent bottle of shampoo? £3? maybe even £4?
Yes I know we're not actually washing our hair, but it saves washing it as often hence saving shampoo. Friendly on the pocket and less harsh on the hair than daily washes.

To use you simply give the can a good shake then spray a few inches from your roots or the greasy area. Rub it in and hey presto, cleaner looking hair.
Don't hold it too close though (like I did first time)... your hair will temporarily be grey!

A can usually lasts me a month or two, which is quite good considering I use it every morning and some evenings if I'm going out. (I have a thick fringe and a forehead prone to grease so even after a wash the night before my fringe needs refreshing by morning.)

A great buy and beats talcum powder (not sure talcs the way forward for us brunettes). The scent isn't amazing but it's not horrible either. For something more exciting there are two other scents available, though in my opinion this is the best as the others are a little overpowering and give me a headache.

So advantages?
-Time Saving
-Quick Fix
-Purse Friendly
-Will fit in your handbag for emergencies
-Gentler on hair than daily washing.

Overall, would I recommend it? Definately... and for any festival goers, it's a necessity.

:)

Summary: A great buy

I adore Batiste Dry Shampoo, though I do prefer the Tropical and Blush scents. They have two new ones out as well, Diva and Boho, which I'm interested to try. Good review :)
