Advantages: Does what it's supposed to do
Disadvantages: Leaves a talc residue on my hair that makes it look like I'm going grey
I hate the fact that I have to wash my hair every day because it gets greasy between washes but as long as I do wash it daily it's not a problem because it's overnight that the greasiness attacks so as long as I've got time to wash my hair in the morning it's ok.
I was doing a mystery shop the other day and had to spend a fiver in a chemist so when I was browsing round I saw this and thought it was worth a try to help me not have to wash my hair every day.
I think Batiste works ok but the downsides outweigh the advantages for me so I don't think I'll use it that often. Batiste is a powder that you spray on your unwashed hair and rub it in and it soaks up the grease so you don't need to wash your hair.
It sprays on easy and I didn't have to use a lot to cover my hair and rubbing it in is easy as well but not as straight forward as you might think. It's really just talc in a spray can and though its ok on the blonde part of my hair it made the brunette section look like I was going grey because of how it dulled the colour.
It helped my hair not look greasy but instead it went a bit too dry and looked and felt proper wiry and when I tried to brush it back into a ponytail my hair felt like straw. The colour looked like it had been leeched out of my hair and my hair looked horrible and dull.
It cost about £2.59 and that's not bad if it works well for you because that's about the price of a bottle of shampoo. My mate uses it and she swears by it but her hair is a honey blonde colour so the dullness doesn't stand out so much.
