I have tried all of the Batiste Dry Shampoos and, although they're all great, I think the Original is still my favourite, simply because it has the nicest scent in my opinion.

As an idea, Batiste seems kind of gross. It's shampoo for those times when you don't have time to wash your hair. Like I did when I first encountered this product, you're probably thinking "who doesn't have time to wash their hair?!" Well, there are loads of reasons why you might have to skip a shower. And for me Batiste has been a life saver. I bought mine to take with me to a festival. I like feeling clean but festival showers are a nightmare. In between times, I'm more than happy to have a quick wet-wipe down and then I'll just lightly spritz my hair with a bit of Batiste. I have also used it on the odd occasion where I have stayed overnight at a friend's house and wanted to make a speedy getaway in the morning.

The great thing about this product is that it works. It gives greasy hair a nice boost, making it look clean and adding volume. It has a pleasant, subtle kind of smell that lingers, but doesn't cause offence. You really can't go wrong with this product, as long as you follow the instructions on the bottle- and it really isn't complicated. Essentially you just spray it on and then brush it through. If you leave it, you might be left with some unsightly white residue which could make you look older than your years.

The Batiste bottle is really nice too. I don't feel embarrassed if someone catches a glimpse of this in my bag because they'd probably just think it was body spray or something. It's pretty packaging easily disguises it's semi-gross connotations.
In summary, I'd happily recommend this to anyone who sometimes finds themselves a little short on time. Once you've bought a bottle you'll wonder what you ever did without it. It's perfect- especially given the price. A bottle usually costs around, or just under, £3.
