Batiste dry shampoo is an absolute lifesaver and great for helping to keep up appearances when you don't have time to wash your hair! I brought batiste dry shampoo in Tropical, the scent is quite coconutty! It comes in a yellow aerosol can which has a green leaf print on it and has a greeny-blue coloured cap.

I used this product a lot when I was revising for my final exams at university and didn't have the time to wash and dry my hair! I've also used this when I have been camping for weekends and the showers haven't been too appealing! My hair is fairly thick and long and so washing and drying it can take some time. Using batiste dry shampoo helps to eek out the time between washes and is great for when you are in a rush to go out. I have a big full fringe and it tends to get greasy much faster than the rest of my hair, so this product is great for when I just want my fringe to look clean!

Before I use this dry shampoo I shake the can quite hard, and then when applying it to my hair I hold the aerosol can quite far back and then quickly spray all over my hair. I then use my hands and try to and work the dry shampoo through my hair. If I see any 'grey' bits I make sure I brush them out well!

The only downside with this dry shampoo is that if you are using it repeatedly without washing your hair properly the product does tend to build up quite a lot on your scalp and can make it quite itchy! When this happened to me I made sure that when I did eventually get around to washing my hair I shampooed twice and vigorously massaged my scalp to make sure that all of the product was out. I'm sure that I only experienced this downside because I was using it too much and not washing my hair enough!!

This dry shampoo works really well and definitely helps to give you extra time before you have to wash your hair. It helps to make your hair look and smell clean and really does what it is meant too!

Summary: Great for when you don't have time to wash your hair, but not a substitute for actually washing it!
