Advantages: Great for revitalsing greasy hair

Disadvantages: Can clump if sprayed too close

Lets face it, even though we'd like to step out of the house every morning perfectly groomed this doesn't always happen for various reasons. Whether you've overslept, got no hot water, or simply can't be bothered to wash your hair, reach for the batiste.
I first tried this product in the original form, after years spent rubbing talcum powder (yes it does work!) into my hair whenever I hadn't had time to wash it. However I soon grew tired of the whole talcum powder thing as it just wasnt practical and left my hair a wierd grey colour for a while afterwards. I liked the original Batiste but wasn't particularly keen on the smell, so when I saw the tropical fragranced dry shampoo in my local chemist I couldn't wait to try it. The price was one of the main things that attracted me to this product as at under £2 it's an absolute bargain and well worth the price when you consider how much time, water and shampoo it could save you. I normally wash my hair every other day so use this on the second day if my hair's looking a bit flat. I spray the shampoo onto my hair, leave for a minute or two, rub in with my fingers and then brush out using a round barrelled brush. It's important not to use too much and not to spray it close to your scalp as otherwise you end up with small clumps of powder that are harder to brush out. I normally brush my hair quite a few times, just to ensure that all the shampoo is out and it's a good idea to ask someone you trust to check that it's all out just to make sure that you don't leave the house looking like you've aged and gone grey overnight. The product really is a miracle worker and after 2 minutes of using and brushing out the shampoo hair is given a second life and looks as if you've just spent an hour washing and drying it.
Another use that I've found for Batiste is to give extra volume to your hair when attempting particular styles. For example when I go out I often quiff the front of my hair and a spray of batiste lifts the roots making it easier to style and giving it a gorgeous coconut fragrance.

This product is really great and a must have for those 'can't be bothered days'.

Summary: A miracle worker
