Advantages: Leaves hair looking good and smelling great

Disadvantages: Still much better just to wash your hair properly!

I was having a really bad hair day a couple of weeks ago, though it was my own fault as the night before I hadn't washed my hair out of laziness! I have the type of hair which does need washing on a daily basis or else it looks greasy, dull and lifeless the day after. My hair was that bad due to it not being washed that it made me feel really awful and self conscious. A work colleague recommended that I try Batiste Dry Shampoo for such occassions.

I took her advice and purchased a bottle from Tescos on my next shopping trip. I paid £1.99 for a 150ml cannister, which I thought was quite good value for money.

The cannister itself is a bright yellow colour with a jade green plastic lid. The cannister is re-cycleable and is found amongst the normal shampoos on the shelves. It supposedly had a Tropical scent to it, which was the theme for the decor of the cannister.

The spray itself is quite fine and has a lovely coconut scent to it. It left my hair smelling really nice and gave me an instant lift. The spray is dispensed quite fiercely from the cannister so you don't need too mcuh.

Instructions for use:-
Hold can approximately 30cm from hair and spray lightly, giving even coverage over the hair.
Use fingertips to massage into hair, then brush out excess, using a natural bristle brsh if possible.

Although I was using this product on a recommendation, I wasn't really confident it could do the job. I just didn't believe that a spray could almost 'wash' your hair without water and shampoo.

I was made to eat my words though as this product really did do the trick. Don't get me wrong, it didn't leave my hair feeling or looking as clean as if I had just washed it properly, but it did take the greasy looking shine off my hair and gave it some much needed life which it severely lacks if it hasn't been washed the night before.

This product is a little gem which without the recommendation I wouldn't have thought of buying. I only use it in emergencies, but for a quick fix when you are short on time and can't possibly wash your hair properly then this little miracle can really make a difference to limp looking hair. I will always make sure I have this product in my cupboard now and will not hesitate to use it again.

Batiste Dry shampoo gives great results to your hair and leaves it smelling fabulous too. A highly recommended product.
