Advantages: It smelled fantastic, nice packaging
Disadvantages: Left hair static, expensive
Cost:
£4.88 for 450ml of product.
Unless you can catch Boots doing their 3 for 2 range like i did when i purchased this product.
Packaging:
The hair mask comes in a small glass jar with a silver lid. You can see the product through the glass and it has a small label on the front.
I personally think you are paying for the glass packaging more than the product.
What does the product claim to do:
(Taken from the boots website) Botanics, the power of plants. Botanics 3 Minute Deep Conditioning Hair Mask conditions where it's needed most, to leave hair shiny and strengthened with added protection from environmental damage
How to use:
After shampooing the hair, blot dry the hair with a towel and comb.
Apply product to the hair, pulling through to the ends. Comb through and then wrap the hair in a warm towel if possible.
Leave for 3 minutes and then rinse clean.
My opinion:
I am a hairdresser so always have a strong opinion on hair products.
I personally did not like this product at all which is a surprise because i am a big fan of the Botanic range.
I have quite thick naturally curly/frizzy hair and i thought this would leave my hair feeling healthy and shiny.
It left my hair very static and a nightmare to style. In fact i had to re wash it and use my normal Tigi conditioner.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with thick and frizzy hair. But it may work better on some one with naturally straight fine hair.
It is a shame because it smelled fantastic and had great potential.
It has not put me off using the Botanic range though as their skin care is fantastic.
Summary: A bad product and expensive. A let down for the Botanics range!
