~Leave-In Conditioner~

Boots have a range of hair and body products called 'Ingredients'. The Ingredients range includes lots of coconut and almond scented products including shower gel and body cream. There are also a few coconut and almond hair care products in this range including shampoo, conditioner, an intensive mask and this leave-in conditioner which I will be reviewing.

The leave-in conditioner is a spray on conditioner which is suitable for normal to dry hair types. This conditioner contains coconut and almond extracts. It should be sprayed onto clean, towel dried hair and combed through from root to tip. There is no need to rinse. Boots claim this conditioner will leave your hair soft, smooth, moisturised and free from tangles.

~Packaging~

This conditioner is presented in a clear, plastic bottle with a spray top. A simple white label with a coconut/almond image runs around the bottle and the important product information is present. This product has a 24 month shelf life. Not all parts of the bottle can be recycled.

~Price~

A 150ml bottle is available instore and from www.boots.com. This product retails at £1.39 and is currently on a 3 for 2 offer.

~My Thoughts~

I have read so many positive reviews of this leave-in conditioner and when my sister also recommended it, I decided to buy it. There is a tiny Boots chemist a few minutes walk from my home and they stocked this so those who do not have a larger Boots store nearby should have no problem with purchasing this. At £1.39 I feel this is an excellent price.

I have thick, dry hair which really does need a conditioner to keep it within a manageable state. I wash my hair over the bath using the shower head and due to having a bad back, I like to complete this task as quickly as possible. My new hair washing regime includes a quick wash with shampoo, a quick dry with the towel and then applying my leave-in conditioner. I also use an intensive mask once a week and this seems to suit me fine.

I am currently using the Superdrug coconut and almond shampoo but will be trying the Boots version as I am not keen on the Superdrug version. It smells completely different to this conditioner and very fake. Anyway, moving on to discuss this lovely product. The bottle is very easy to use. The conditioner is visible through the bottle and is a cloudy, milky water. At first, I struggled to see how something so watery could moisturise my hair.

Once my hair has been washed and towel dried, it does feel quite dry and practically begging for some form of conditioner. I only need to use a few sprays of this conditioner as it comes out in a fine yet effective mist which goes a long way. The scent of the conditioner is gorgeous and fragrant. The coconut is more prominent as I can barely notice the almond. The overall scent is fresh, sweet and a little exotic. It lingers on my hair and I feel the shampoo would help enhance the overall scent and strength.

This conditioner performs very well indeed and feels lightweight. My hair soaks it all up and I can comb or brush through it with complete ease - no tangles shall get in my way! My hair is instantly smooth. Once dried (the results are the same with blow drying as well as leaving my hair to dry naturally), there is no residue left on my hair. Thankfully this conditioner doesn't leave my roots oily and I am simply treated to soft, smooth and easy to manage locks. I normally wash and condition my hair every second day and the moisturisation is still present by the second evening.

~Conclusion~

Overall I am impressed with this conditioner. It works as well as a regular conditioner in my opinion, smells great and lasts well. It is well priced too and I can highly recommend buying it. My bottle is lasting incredibly well despite regular use.

Thanks for reading :)

Summary: Love it!
