Like many people I am trying to save money. One of the ways to cut down on my expenditure is to buy cheaper toiletries. I love Kerastase shampoo but at around £12 a bottle I can no longer justify it. I love most of the Boots products I have tried, so when I saw a bottle of Boots coconut and almond oil and shampoo for just 99p I bought it without a second thought. Boots coconut and almond oil shampoo comes in a clear unassuming bottle. The shampoo itself is also clear giving the impression of being pure. Open the top and you can hardly fail to notice the slight smell of coconut, a smell I love! The shampoo is thick and you really won't need much to work up a ... Read the complete review

Having read some really positive reviews for Boots Coconut and Almond Shampoo on Dooyoo I decided to try it to see if the shampoo was as good as it was being portrayed to be. At £1.26 I was delighted as it certainly is a good price if it works! A few years back Sunsilk used to do a summer shampoo which had a beautiful coconut smell. This always used to remind me of holidays and being on the beach. Sadly it was discontinued, like so many other products I have fallen in love with over the years. However, this Boots alternative sounded ideal as the combination of coconut and almond together suggested holidays to me like nothing else. I wanted to wait ... Read the complete review

It has only been the past few months I have actually been buying shops own brands to try save myself a bit of money, but this one shampoo I have always got stocked up in my bathroom. I like to try new shampoos all the time just so my hair doesn't become prone to one shampoo and begin to get dry, which it often does unfortunately. Once whilst treating myself to a cut and blowdry in a not so cheap, but stunning hairdressers near me they told me my hair and scalp was quite dry, so they told me they were going to use a shampoo designed especially for dry hair and scalps. As they lathered it into my scalp the smell of coconut flowed around me, it smelt ... Read the complete review

This Boots Coconut and Almond oil shampoo is available for £1.29 for a 300ml bottle, at Boots stores and Boots online. This shampoo is specially designed for dry hair (it says this on the bottle). This shampoo comes in a clear plastic bottle with a crew on clear plastic cap that also pops open so you don't have to unscrew it at all. There's a label on the front with "Boots Coconut and Almond Oil shampoo" written on it and a picture of a cut open coconut. Then on the back of the bottle, you'll find instructions, warnings about not getting the shampoo in your eyes and ingredients. The packaging is quite plain but ok since it's a Boots own ... I was caught out recently and ran out of shampoo in the middle of the week, I live in a rural location with few major shops to hand so like to stock up at weekends when in town. Luckily I managed to get to my local tiny Boots store before it closed and grabbed the first bottle of shampoo I saw. It turned out to be their own brand coconut and almond oil one, I hadnt used this before and was a little sceptical as it was so cheap and normally, well for me at least, cheap shampoos leave me cold. It cost me £1,29 for a 250ml bottle. The following morning during my daily shower I gave the shampoo a try. I was immediately impressed by the fact the cap ... Read the complete review
