I have shoulder length ,flyaway hair that seems to have a mind of its own as far as staying in place is concerned! Most of the time I go with it and let my locks do as they please! However there are times when I need my hair to stay in place and for these times I use Boots essential hair grips.

The hair grips come on a purple card and cost £1.49 for 30 hair grips. They grip well and each grip has a soft cushion at the tip ,making them comfortable to wear. I like to cook and my hair has the habit of falling forward over my face. I use 2 hair grips to hold my hair back off my face .This saves me from constantly pushing my hair back and coating it in flour and is also a lot more hygienic!

The grips are available in several colours including blond and black so you can match your hair shade and use the grips without them being very noticeable. I used these grips recently when I went to a wedding and wanted my hair to look good. They stayed in place all day without the need to adjust them. I have tried using other brands of hair grips,but find that the Boots version are the best! Even after numerous wears they still grip securely and don't seem to become loose and fall out.

Not only are these little hair grips great for keeping hair in place,but I have also used them opened out to clean in awkward places. I have a shower with attached screen. There is an awkward gap between the glass and shower tray. I use an open hair grip to poke a cloth along the edge. I fine this works well !

Overall these are excellent hair grips at a very reasonable price.
