After a recent trip to the hair dryers I noticed how quickly and easily my hair dresser was able to dry my hair using these sectioning clips, so off I went to Boots to purchase some for myself at home.

These cost around £3.50 and are part of the Boots essentials range. They come in a set of 4 and are attached to a simple piece of purple card, you can also buy smaller ones in a set of two for around £2.50.

I use these regularly now whenever I am drying my hair, I simply use the tip to section a piece of my hair, then twist it and clip it to the top of my head. This allows me to dry my hair in sections which is a lot quicker and also makes it easier for me to dry the roots of my hair properly, aswell as getting a much smoother and shinier result when dry.

The clips have a slight rubberised feel to them which helps to hold my hair in place, and they dont snag or pull on my hair any when using them. My only criticism with these is that they dont have any mini teeth running along the inside of the clip to help hold the hair in place (like a set that I recently got with some Lee Stafford curling tongs), so my hair does slip out of the clip sometimes, but I think thats more to do with me not clipping my hair to my head properly more than anything else.

Overall I would definitely recommend these, they are nice and cheap and make drying and styling my hair a lot quicker and easier!
