Advantages: Really cheap but good quality :)

Disadvantages: There are better products but a lot more expensive :(

I use hairspray on my fringe called Frederick, he's an 'emo' fringe and I like to hold him in place throughout the day for my look!

Because I am a student I can't afford expensive hairsprays so always but 'Boots Maximum Hold' out of the 'essentials' range as it is really cheap and really good at setting my fringe for the day!

The size I am reviewing is 200ml which only cost 99p plus Boots have loads of offers on their own stock, so sometimes I can get two cans for £1.50 plus I get 4 Advantage card points which means I get 4 pence out of every pound I spend it store back on my card which makes this range even better value!

There is also a small 75ml can that I carry in my bag for throughout the day and a huge 400ml that is only £1.59 so works out really inexpensive for a huge can that lasts ages.

There are loads of different strengths of hairsprays but I prefer this as it is really strong and it designed to create 'supreme hold' while drying fast without being sticky.

This is really true as well, the spray is really light and I get the light purple can which is unperfumed as I'm asthmatic so strong fragrances get on my chest to much.

To use you hold it about 25-30cms away from your hair after shaking well and simply aim at the area you want to set...

The product promised to leave the user's hair manageable and shiny and that the hairspray is easy to brush out which it is, leaving no tell tale flakes behind.

I think this works really well, it's strong and holds well troughout the day until it is washed or brushed out...

The can's contents are solvent and are not to be overheated and the hairspray is made in the UK which is cool, plus the can is recyclable metal :)

I think the main thing that is great about this hair care range is the price so I think for that alone it's worth five stars, plus it's not brutal to brush out like some heavier solutions are, well done Boots I love your essentials variety!

Summary: One for me! :)
