Newest Review: ... it looks smart again. The brush that I chose is the small styling brush from the Boots Essentials range. It only cost £3.29 ... more

... so it is a brilliant price however you look at it. It came attached to a small piece of card on which it said that the brush was 'designed to help you perfect your ultimate style'. I don't know about 'perfect' and 'ultimate style' where my hair is concerned - it is thick and fairly coarse and as such has a mind of its own! The black brush is made from strong, solid plastic with plastic bristles ending in tiny balls so that they pass through my hair easily without tearing or splitting it. Boots Essentials Small Styling Brush: A Great Brush to Keep in my Desk Drawer! (487 words)

Each year my husband is trying to find lots of 'stocking filler' presents for me to open on Christmas Day - OK I'm 58 years old but we still love to have a pile of presents to open on the day! Setting of at am to the airport en route to Australia ,I realised I had forgotten to pack my hairbrush. However I wasn't too worried as I knew there was a boots store located in the airport departures area. Boots have a good range of their own label products and most I have tried have been excellent. With this in mind I decided to buy a Boots own brand hair brush. I wanted a brush that would be small enough to fit into my already overfull handbag! Boots sell several own brand hairbrushes and I opted for the small styling brush as this would fit into my bag. I already have an expensive hairbrush so really didn't want to spend a lot on a temporary replacement. ...  Read the complete review
