Advantages: fair price, easy to use, lovely smell

Disadvantages: can get a bit 'gungy' on the top if you don't wipe it

This bottle is easy to spot in Boots as it's a brown shampoo with a brown label which depicts horsechesnuts which look good enough to eat!

The plastic bottle is clearly marked 'shampoo for brunettes & red hair' & claims to 'enhance hair colour & shine'.

It has a flip-top lid &, once opened, the hole in the top allows you to squeeze as much or as little as you wish which means less waste.

It's not the thickest shampoo in the world but it smells lovely & does the job & at £1.49 for 300ml I'm not complaining.

The list of ingredients, directions & warnings are all clearly marked on the reverse label - tiny print but all there!

The label also tells me that the shampoo has been dermattolically tested & mthe bottle is made from re-cycled material.

I can't quite put my finger on the smell - obviously it contains chestnuts & henna - but these don't have a fragrance do they? Whatever it is though it smells very fresh but not too feminine so could be used by men/ boys as well as females.

The lather is good & the hair feels lovely & soft after washing.

As for the shine it promises ... well, this is difficult to confirm because my daughters, both brunettes & myself (red-head) are lucky enough to have shiny hair anyway.

I have read other reviews about this product & it does seem to help achieve shiny hair when used.

summary
~
- good price - maybe an idea to look out for 3 -for- two offers in Boots if you like this.
- nice bottle & easy to use but I'd recommended wiping the top regularly as sometimes it can clog up.
- lovely smell.
- leaves the hair feeling soft.
- a good shampoo to try if you have red hair or are a brunette.

Summary: a recommended shampoo for redheads/ brunettes
