Advantages: Great smell, leaves hair smooth and glossy, hair doesn't go greasy quickly

Disadvantages: None

I absolutely love trying out new shampoos and conditioners and I love spending ages in Boots deciding which new things to buy, so when I went into town by myself for a haircut I decided to take advantage of being my myself and get some new hair products to go with my new hair cut.

I'm not fussy on what make of hair products I buy, and this shampoo and conditioner caught my eye. The boots ingredients range is a new one to me, but there was quite a range of shampoos and conditioners for all types of hair, including products for specific hair colours (brunette, blonde, red) and different types of hair (dry, dry/damaged, normal etc.)

The Honey & Jojoba range is for dry / damaged hair which describes my hair perfectly. The conditioner costs £1.26 a bottle and it was on offer - 2 for £2.

The conditioner is pale yellow in colour and comes in a clear bottle with a flip top lid. The bottle contains 300ml and this seemed to be the only size available.

The conditioner is very thick, and smells deliciously of honey, because it is so thick you don't need to use a lot and it is very easy to apply. I leave this conditioner on for a couple of minutes, it doesn't say you need to on the bottle but I always do, no matter what conditioner I use.

The conditioner rinses out very easily and leaves your hair nicely of honey and jojoba which is very nice. I think the jojoba must balance out the scent of the honey as it is not an overly sweet smell.

I blow dry and straighten my hair most of the time and I find that my hair is easily managed after using this conditioner, it is smooth and glossy but it doesn't go greasy very quickly at all and I often find that I can leave my hair for two days in between washes and it looks fine, whereas I would usually wash my hair every other day.

I was definitely very impressed with this shampoo, I guess it proves that natural products work well with your hair and that paying more is not always worth it. I will certainly buy this again and would recommend the Boots Ingredients haircare range to anybody, there is such a range of products that there is bound to be one which is right for your hair.

Summary: Well it's definitely worth trying
